| The gamelan mallets
we sell are made in the workshops of gamelan makers in
Bali. They are made to standard sizes, weight and from material
found in professional orchestras around the region. The gangsa
mallets are light-weight and crooked for fast playing; gong mallets
are composite of rubber and cloth. Mallet handles are lathe-turned,
stained and varnished. Some variation in color, weight and appearance
does occur. |
